Mangaluru, 9 July 2024 — Unexpectedly, thieves broke into the home of an elderly couple in Mangaluru and stole property valued at several lakhs. The Kadri area was shaken up by the early morning incident, which left the locals on edge.
Police records state that when Mr. Raghav Shenoy, 72, and Mrs. Lakshmi Shenoy, 70, were asleep, the burglars broke into their home. The break-in left the pair severely traumatised but uninjured. Because of the couple's vulnerability, the robbers left the area before the police could get there.
